Free Vernacular

The chosen cabin is transportable and located where the user or users wish. It is about making a small space an emergency vernacular, a cabin that can weather the inclement weather.

Therefore, the fact that the cabin once installed, it can change itself (terraces that open and close). Like the facade, which are changing and can be opened and closed. Therefore, we are facing a situation of movement, changing.

And on the other hand, we have the option that it can grow; depending on the family, by joining several cabins this can grow according to the needs.

So we have a mutable piece not only by itself but in how much to enlarge the surface, by itself and joining several pieces.

The piece is treated as a self-sufficient dwelling, where it has an enclosure to collect rainwater, which can be used for the roof, to wash clothes by hand or to bathe. The electricity is used (once it is grouped) of photovoltaic panels.

And the fecal facilities are linked to cesspit located in the place or by means of pipes to the effect. If we move the house, we also move the septic tanks.

The idea of this new cabin (vernacular), is from the point of view of self-sufficiency. It also deals with the need for other cabins to be able to relate and be able to subsist. The idea is to group them in several as the family increases (self-renewing) and the changing power, the terraces open or close depending on the seasonality or depending on the emotional state (mutable).
