Kulthida Songkittipakdee

The theme "PAST PRESENT PERFECT" reflects on how our past experiences continually shape and inform the present moment. It emphasizes the ongoing relevance of past actions, decisions, and memories, suggesting that time is fluid—not merely something that has happened, but something that still resonates and holds power in the present. In the context of Kulthida Songkittipakdee and HAS Design and Research's thinking, she often explores themes of memory, identity, and the fluidity of time in her work. Her perspective might suggest that the “past perfect” is not just a grammatical structure but also a philosophical one—where past events are not distant or separate, but intricately woven into the fabric of our present. She could view the theme as an exploration of how individuals and societies carry their histories forward, whether consciously or subconsciously, shaping who they are in the present. In this light, the past is never truly gone, but always influences the present in meaningful ways.
