Project Illustration: In urban development, cities are developed from rural settlements. Some rural settlements lag behind for various reasons, and have evolved into the marginal spaces and lost spaces of cities. The design focuses on the contradiction between urban development and residential area renewal patterns. It attempts to use the “graph-bottom relationship theory”, “typology theory”, “place theory”, “architectural morphology language”, etc. to analyze and find the characteristics of the big city pattern and the existing residential area. Through the creation of montage styles and hypercubism in regional settlement spaces, assembly-type building materials are used to perform lively narrative weaving to give people the rural space settlement experience.
